UCLA Summer 2016 RN New Grad Residency Program

Hi everyone! I wanted to make a forum to connect anyone that is applying for UCLA's new grad program starting this summer! Post below if you're interested in applying and which units you're interested in. I'm thinking about SICU, oncology, and the OR.

Hello herna372, I don't know if you know the answer to my question since you are also out of state. But when they did those fingerprints for out of state applicants, were those California Livescans? If so, do you know if we get results back regardless if get into the program or not so that I can start applying for California license. I sent an email to them, but it's been a week, and I never got a response.

Yes! I'm pretty sure I heard they were livescans. I think she said they process in about three days. You can double check by calling their office too! (Way faster than emails)

Do you know if we get those results back somehow? We can't really complete our applications unless we attach our Livescan results or does the UCLA human resources send them to the Cali BON?

Did anyone create a Facebook group page for 2016 summer cohort? I don't think I was able to find any on FB so I thought about just creating one for everyone?

I just got back from my interview for 8ICU! They said they don't do second interviews and we'll be getting called around June or July with offers

I overheard the women who does the livescan say that only UCLA will be able to view the results of the livescan and the only thing we can call and ask about is if it came back clear or not. Hope that helps.
