  1. Yea I hate to be that person but like the other person said it won't be fair to others if I give you the specifics. Also, what I got asked will most likely be different than what you will be asked so I don't want to give you that false hope. Generally, you should expect mixed clinical and emotional intelligence questions. These clinical questions should be pertaining to your specific ICU experiences. So that should give you an idea how to prepare for it. Honestly, I thought the UNCG's interview was fair and a lot more straightforward and laid back compared to other schools. But of course, things could change as always. I know this advice sounds very generic but be yourself and be humble. Good luck with your interview!
  2. Just graduated from this program. Inbox me if you have any specific questions
  3. It will vary. 25-28. I don’t think they updated the number.
  4. Nope, nothing. I'd like to know soon if I'm at least waitlisted or not since I'm out of state. Oh man all that flying and time for just that 20 min interview haha.
  5. I agree. Mine was pretty fast as well. Well, they said they were running behind schedule. They did not ask a lot of behavioral questions compare to other nurse residency programs I interviewed at. I know what you mean. I did not get an email for reference checks.... I hope that means I am not out.
  6. Did anyone create a Facebook group page for 2016 summer cohort? I don't think I was able to find any on FB so I thought about just creating one for everyone?
  7. Do you know if we get those results back somehow? We can't really complete our applications unless we attach our Livescan results or does the UCLA human resources send them to the Cali BON?
  8. Hello herna372, I don't know if you know the answer to my question since you are also out of state. But when they did those fingerprints for out of state applicants, were those California Livescans? If so, do you know if we get results back regardless if get into the program or not so that I can start applying for California license. I sent an email to them, but it's been a week, and I never got a response.
  9. It would have been nice if they mentioned that before since I already booked a return flight on the same day. How would they expect us to know that lol
  10. tenta, it looks like you applied to UCLA nurse residency program as well. Have you heard anything back? I have a interview for a CTICU position with them.
  11. I hope so! I gave up my nurse residency position at Vanderbilt for this and UCLA's nurse residency program.
  12. I applied as well. Critical care and cardiology so CTICU or tele
  13. Are you interviewing for CTICU? That's when I have mine. I leave on the same day as the interview since I have to be back for school the next day. I hope they don't make me stay for the second interview since they didn't really say anything about it in the email. I mean I would have prepared for it if they told me about it.
  14. Does anyone know if we have to come back for the second interview? I don't live in LA so I hope they don't make us fly out there again. It's already pretty expensive for that first interview.
