I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.
Good Luck ?
@Tholland17 you also apply for medsurg right? I think medsurg might be taking awhile to send out emails or something. Cause me and a couple people I know are waiting for medsurg as well

Sending positive energy out to everyone here still waiting to hear back!
I have also heard this from Friends who are internal applicants. I don’t think it’s 100% but it’s like why wouldn’t they, if they already have hired you once for a different position

Yes. I actually applied to both the MICU and Medsurg/Tele. I have not seen a lot of medsurg invites going out so that gives me hope. LOL. Hopefully we hear something soon. This wait is killer.

Yes! Actually, when we receive the offer for (my position) we are told that we are guaranteed an interview when we become new grads. In fact, I believe even if a floor doesn't show direct interest we are matched with one with openings that fits our skillset!

I heard that they are starting to close out applicants who they are not interested in. So if you have “in review” or not closed out like someone mentioned earlier then you should still be in the run for an interview.
Still be hopeful for a couple more weeks if you still are in review
