Hey everyone!! Congrats to all of you who got interviews and to those who got job offers! This is kind of an awkward question but I am just curious what kind of qualifications the people who got interviews had. BSN or ADN? High GPA? Previous healthcare work experience?

I am graduating with a BSN in May, 3.75 GPA, ACLS certified, preceptorship in cardiac critical care, and was a volunteer at a hospital for 2 years. I know TONS of people applied and that many were more qualified than me. I guess I'm just curious what made the people who got interviews stand out.

You are more than qualified. It's all on when you apply. I applied as soon as the application went up. I will graduate with a BSN in May, GPA 3.69,Patient Care Assistant on a Cardiac Floor 1 year, Summer Internship on a med-surg tele floor.

Qualifications are different for everyone. My leadership experience is my strength, so I highlighted that. It all comes down to in person impression if you get the chance, in my opinion.

I accepted a position on cardiac surgery observation this week! Anyone else who will be in the residency this summer feel free to mssg me. I'll be moving a long ways to LA and looking to meet people!

Congrats! what was the hiring process for you?

Interviewed on the 11th...got the 2nd interview on the 18th...this one was pretty much an invite to hire. I think the 2nd call back means to seal the deal. best of luck!
