Just was wondering for those interviewed on 11/15/11 for Santa Monica M/S Orthopaedic floor? If so, I was wondering if you asked how many people the UD was planning to hire?
Had my interview last tuesday at 8AM for SMUCLA's Gen Medicine/Palliative... talking with other candidates interviewing for other units reallllly helped loosen things up for that interview.

Hello Pinklady! I'm so happy to see a colleague. Mine is at 9:30. We're gonna be interviewed by the CNS and tour the unit. From the last cohort it seems that they will do job offers afterwards. I think its a very high likely that we'll make it but there's a little chance that they might refuse. Keeping fingers crossed. Good luck to you and hope we make it!!!

I noticed on your post you mentioned that "From the last cohort it seems that they will do job offers afterwards." Does this mean that individuals from the last cohort were offered a job right after their second interview (that same day) or were they offered a job after a couple days/weeks?
Im not interviewing for your dept or unit but i was just curious and wanted to ask ... Thanks and good luck!
Maybe UCLA changed their hiring times, as my friend who got in the last cohort group, there was three sets of interviews, then the offer. So maybe they decided to shorten to two interviews? In any case, good luck to all!!
