Funny, I'm sure we all crossed paths at one moment or another. The protests made for an interesting experience, too. But, all in all, it wasn't a painful interview. But, as with all interviews, one never really knows what seals the deal and what doesn't. We all have relatively the same skill level, I'm guessing, but it may come down to personality and how well we got along with the interviewer and how well the interviewer believes we will get along with the other staff members. Remember, they are hiring someone to integrate with an existing team. And, it's important we all get along and work well together. So, they're weighing those things too. Not an easy job, I'm sure, considering all the applicants that showed up in just the time I was there. Good luck to everyone!I did, I did! I think it went well. I really hope I get the call! How was your experience?
Also interviewed with NICU and felt pretty good about it. There was definitely a lot of interviewees in HR, but everyone was sweet and the HR team made everything a piece of cake. Honestly just happy to finally have some nursing interview experience, LOL! RNnicu42 - Good Luck! :)
Do you know how many nurses they are hiring. I forgot to ask.
I interviewed for RRUCLA ICU
I think we interviewed for the same ICU RN Mom. From what I have read in this thread and in talking to friends that interviewed for different ICUs than me, there seems to be only one ICU Unit Director that told people during the first interview to contact her to arrange a second interview.
Good luck to you and everyone else!
Anyone have an interview next week for the Oncology unit or have any information about the unit (how many they are going to hire? if they are already pre-filled? etc...). I'm driving down from the Bay Area and am already getting discouraged from all these negative experiences from other unit interviews. I know that everyone's experience will be different, but it still makes you second guess....
Yes, I am interviewing for Oncology on Tuesday. I don't know anything about it actually. I interviewed last year for CT ICU and it wasn't bad at all. It seems that they change the process a little bit every year of hiring new grads.

Did you also apply to the ICU at Ronald Reagan? Or did you apply to the CCU at Santa Monica?
