BayNurse11, what unit did you interview for?

liver transplant SICU

anyone else interview for cardiothoracic if so how do u think it went

Did the interviewer say anything about when the decision will be made for SM ED? I forgot to ask exactly when we would hear back.

Update for any of you guys who applied to psych:

I called hr, and the lady I spoke to was super nice. She said that they are still making calls for the psych unit, and that she thinks the psych interviews will be mostly on the 29th (wasn't 100% sure about the interview date though)! Also, she said that if we haven't heard anything by December, that's when we should assume that we're not in the running.

I feel better since I called, and just thought I'd share. So don't give up hope yet! My plan is to pursue as many other opportunities as possible, but remain optimistic for UCLA b/c Resnick is an amazing hospital and definitely my dream job!

Best of luck to everyone interviewing today! I'm sure that you will all do great!

Thank you so much for sharing ChineseLatern! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all us pysch pickers here on the board!

I had an interview for SM ED yesterday too. I'm also wondering when exactly we would hear back from the interviewer. *fingers crossed* good luck to everyone else on their interviews =)

Anyone have an interview next week for the Oncology unit or have any information about the unit (how many they are going to hire? if they are already pre-filled? etc...). I'm driving down from the Bay Area and am already getting discouraged from all these negative experiences from other unit interviews. I know that everyone's experience will be different, but it still makes you second guess....

Thank you, ChineseLantern for sharing that information!! I guess I won't give up the hope yet. :)

Did anyone interview for SM's PICU? The interviewer made it sound like they would be only hiring one new grad! Yikes!

PS. The "essay" questions before the interview are super easy :)

I interviewed for nicu today. I thought it went really well. The interviewers were really nice and friendly. They had my resume and seemed like they knew a little about me before I started. They said we would hear back in 2-3 weeks. And yes, the essay questions are super easy and so is the math test.

Also interviewed with NICU and felt pretty good about it. There was definitely a lot of interviewees in HR, but everyone was sweet and the HR team made everything a piece of cake. Honestly just happy to finally have some nursing interview experience, LOL! RNnicu42 - Good Luck! :)
