Hi Everyone!

UCLA's application for their new grad residency program opened today so I thought I'd make a forum where we could all chat & support each other through the stressful process. Good luck to everyone who applies!

Hey everybody! I just received an interview for the ED department! My second choice was Med-Surg/Step-down!

Wow! I applied for the ED but they told me they weren't accepting many for that department outside of their internal applicants so they forwarded me to the ICU and I'm interviewing with them. Congrats to you!!

Interview email for cticu came to me today.

Hey all!!

Super glad that I found this thread. I finally found somewhere to read relevant info from other UCLA applicants. My status changed to (Routing to Interviewing Supervisor) on 10/21 and got the email invite for an interview today (11/3). Interview is for my 1st choice - ED. There was only 1 day offered but differ times. My second choice was MICU.

I called HR and "Routing to Interviewing Supervisor" means you're definitely on the path for an interview set-up. Invites are sent out the first 2 weeks of November and interviews start November 14th. Hope this helps a lil for some people!

Looking forward to other people's updates!

To the in-state applicants, how long do you think it actually takes from LAX to the Wilshire center. Google says 30 minutes, but I've heard about crazy LA traffic. Trying to decide how early to book my flight, thanks!

For the people who were invited from the ED for an interview, were you each internal applicants?
