UCLA New Grad Residency Winter 2017

Published

Hi Everyone!

UCLA's application for their new grad residency program opened today so I thought I'd make a forum where we could all chat & support each other through the stressful process. Good luck to everyone who applies!

STAFF UPDATE

Tell us about UCLA by visiting University of California (UCLA) School of Nursing | Peer Reviews.

My app only had two options. I think in the past there was three.

will the "All required documents received" change to "routed to interviewing supervisor"?

Under "status".

Hello,

I'm not applying to UCLA just yet but I was wondering how many places do they allow you to apply to for a job? I thought the max was 3 but it looks like most of you only applied to 2.

I think it's because alot of the specialties are double applications for both the ucla santa monica hospital and ronald regan so it counts as 2.

Did anyone remember what did it say before "Rerouted to interviewing supervisor" under Status?

Anyone hear from ER? Or Perinatal? I applied on the 1st & my application status still says online assessment completed so naturally I'm worried.

I know a lot of people have been wondering so I thought I'd share. My status changed today to "routed to supervisor" and I applied for the ED and Pediatrics. Very Exciting! Good luck everyone :D

Do you know what unit it is for? Because I'm all Peds and PICU and still see no status change.

I haven't received an email to schedule the interview yet and don't know what unit it is for. I'm trying to remember what my first choice was pediatrics vs. Emergency department, but I can't, sorry!

Hopefully we will all find out soon. I was planning on waiting until the second week of November before giving up hope, so hang in there.

My status changed yesterday (Oct 27th) to "routed to interviewing supervisor". I applied for Perinatal and Step-down/Med Surg. I have not received an email or phone call just yet. I am hoping to hear back soon. Good luck to everyone!

My status changed to "routing to interviewing supervisor" today and I applied for my top two as #1 MICU and #2 Transplant/Surgical ICU. Haven't received an email yet for a slot though.

My status changed on the 26th to "routed to interviewing supervisor" and I haven't received any emails yet either. Is this a standard change or does it mean you might get an interview? I applied to Peds and Onc.

My status also changed to "routed to interview supervisor" yesterday! :) I applied to MICU and Neuro/Trauma ICU. Hopefully we hear about interviews by the end of the week. For those who haven't heard anything back yet, don't lose hope!
