Hello all, I'm preparing to apply to UCLA's Master's Entry Clinical Nurse (MECN) program, and so have decided to start a thread for others that planning to also apply and/or interested.

Taking into consideration that admissions begin September 1, 2017 and end on November 1, 2017, this conversation will hopefully progress from now (the lead up) through the time of notification for acceptance/denial/waitlist (between February and April 2018).

In the meantime, is anyone planning to attend any of the upcoming information sessions?

I got an email from Rhonda saying I got in! So thankful for this thread to help me feel less crazy for the amount of times I checked my email daily!

Congratulations! When did you receive an email from her?

@itzlykewow I got an email from her at 12:30PM Pacific time!

I got the admission email too! I feel so relieved.

does the update show when you log in to check your application status?

No, my application status still hasn't changed.

Just got an admissions email as well! Congrats @gdux and @huaaaa! I hope everyone else finds out soon as well, hang in there!

Congratulations to you guys too! :) Hope everyone else will hear good news soon!

I received the acceptance email as well!! my application status has not changed on the website but the email said that the official acceptance will come in 2-3 weeks. I hope you all get the good news soon!

Is there a Facebook group started?

just got my acceptance via email as well! So thrilled!

Best wishes to everyone that is still anxiously waiting -lots of hugs-

I don't think so!😂😂

Hello!

I also received an email from RF today! I *believe* it is an acceptance letter, however I'm not 100% sure because it says that the SON recommended me to the Graduate Division of UCLA, and that the final decisions are made by the UCLA Graduate Division. I'm not sure if this means I am still waiting on for UCLA GD to approve my acceptance? But towards the end it says congrats on your acceptance? Did anyone get this email as well?

I just want to say thank you to everyone who posted here. This is my first post but I have been a long time lurker and each and everyone's post and bits of knowledge has helped me get through this intense/anxiety filled application cycle!

Congrats to everyone who received their acceptances!
