UCLA MECN Fall 2011

I saw that the MECN application for UCLA has been posted today. Is anyone applying to the Fall 2011 program?? I haven't found a thread going on yet...Maybe we can share our questions/concerns regarding the application process here.

Out of curiosity, did anyone get accepted to UCLA and choose to go to a different school instead? Anyone else get accepted from the waitlist? Anyone on the waitlist choose a different school instead, if so what number were you? Obviously, I am on the waitlist as well. :)

Just an FYI all, i just got the call from JH and just got picked up off the waitlist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like phone calls are going out before emails

I was number 9 on the WL so they're making their way down. I was looking on the forums for last year and it took the number 10 WL candidate until APRIL to find out, so those who are high up on the WL have hope!

Congrats to those on the waitlist who heard earlier this week!! I was on the WL and contacted today!!! (I was number 11, Lisa you're next if they haven't gotten to you already!) For those who are still waiting, I hope that space will become available for you too!

Julsie - I am in San Diego and will be relocating up to LA if you are looking for a possible roomie. Are you taking the epidemiology class over summer?

Thanks Aussie!!! God, that might even be worse. I am next but what if they are done?!?! I'm going to go have a drink and not think about it...

Fingers crossed for everyone on the wait list!!! I am hoping that if they already got to 11 and today was the deadline, then they will hopefully have a few others that chose other schools as well!

I will let you all know if I find out anytime soon. :)

AussiOzOz, I'll be moving with my husband, but I don't know anyone else in Los Angeles area. I'm really excited to meet everyone and make new friends! Hopefully our MECN class will become really close. I am actually in LA right now for a different reason and went to check out the UCLA campus - it's so pretty! Westwood is awesome, but I'm not sure where we'll be living yet. SO much to think about!!!!!:):):)
