Nursing Students School Programs

Thread for UCF ‘21 Traditional BSN ❤️
I sent my application in literally at 12:00 am on February 1st... is this application wholistic or first come first serve? Also... does UCF look at your transcript with grades from this semester?

Aside from that, lmk what your GPA’s and TEAS scores look like. I am way too insecure to post mine and am not sure where I am at. First choice is Daytona, then Orlando, then Cocoa.

Did anybody not get in for Summer and had to reactivate for Fall? I’m kinda worried. I know it already says eligible on my app but on my UGRD application status it still says “offered admission to UCF for the Summer term”

I'm in the same boat. I was emailed the director of academic advising for CON last week and he gave me the following link https://apply.ucf.edu/forms/forms/Reactivation to "reapply" for Fall 2021. If you have a question, I'd reach out to him (Dr. N).

Good luck to you!

Mine also says Summer still with my Fall application all green.  By chance, have y'all gotten a bunch of UCF orientation emails?  Since I submitted my reactivation, I have been getting them almost every week LOL.

Yes I've been getting so many but they said not to schedule orientation until after you get accepted .. if we dooo?

Does anybody think we will be hearing later this week or leaning toward more next week?

Based on what I've seen from past Fall cohorts, I think Mon 3/29 might be a safe bet.  Usual it has taken about 40 days from the end of applications.

Fingers crossed! I'm so anxious to find out LOL

Did you all apply to any other schools? I also applied to UWF, UNF, FSU, & FGCU for the Fall. I just hope I'll get in somewhere because my first TEAS was just an 80%.

I didn’t apply to any other programs, just UCF traditional. Did you take the TEAS multiple times? I’m not sure about other schools, but UCF takes your highest score and I don’t think they care about how many times you took it (as long as there were 30 days between each attempt and only 3 attempts in a calendar year)

No, I was rushing to study prior to taking it before the deadline, & FGCU (where I currently go to school) only counts the 1st attempt. What are your stats? My cumulative GPA is around 3.71 (if you count courses that weren't necessary for my major). I suspect UWF and UNF are less competitive than the other FL schools I applied to.

UNF is really competitive!

Ahh okay, 80 is still a good score! Good luck!! My stats are 89.3 on the TEAS (I took it 3 times) and 4.0 GPA

Just got an email today from nursing advising asking me if I was interested in any other campuses because as of now I am waitlisted for the Orlando Campus. (Orlando Campus is the only one I applied to). They also said that it is “highly unlikely” that anyone would be accepted from the waitlist this year. Decisions haven’t come out yet so I think they were just giving me a heads up. After doing some research I found that going to Daytona or Cocoa wouldn’t be half bad so I emailed back saying that I was interested in either of those . Still waiting for a response. Very surprised that I was waitlisted tho with my stats and already being a UCF student.won't know for sure until decisions tho I suppose.

Overall GPA- 3.94

science pre req GPA- 4.0

TEAS-92%
