I am applying and have requested all my transcripts, I did decent on the Teas test with an 86. Undergrad gpa 3.45, pre req 4.0
I went to the info session last month it was a bit of a pain :angryfire to sit through just to get the application passcode because of all the redundant you should do some research if your serious questions lol.
I am excited and hope to get in to move forward with my life goals of community health nursing.
I am also applying to UNF's program too. Their website is really detailed with everything I ever wanted to know. One of the few schools that have their stuff together.
Julie,
Yes, it is not available yet.

I don't know how much they will be at UCF but I just ordered all mine from Amazon (with the exception of two). With the free shipping my total for the books that were in the package UCF offered was 649.00 (thats including the two books I got from other sources). This is a good bit less than what UCF is offering.
BDiv that is awesome, I was looking on Half.com and that wasn't helping me much since they were all going to be shipped from different sellers. I'll go to Amazon. Did you use a certain seller? If so I'd like the info, I refuse to pay full price for something that is just the same but cheaper elsewhere
Angela I also added most of the UCF books into my cart and it was around $1200, not including the Drug Guide or 3 other books I found online. No way jose! I'm going shopping online tonight. I do have to go get the patches from the book store though right? Or does the uniform store have them? I'm checking them out this Saturday AM to try on some stuff. It really stinks, I work in a doctor's office and have half a closet full of scrubs, white and navy included, and lab coats (2). But they aren't the same style so I have to go get more!!!
Love talking to you guys!!
I hear you on the scrubs, Erinina!
I just priced all the books. I got half from Elseivers.com and the other half from e-bay. The total was $965.92 including shipping and an extra book that was just a "recommended" text (Gerontologic Nursing). They are all brand new so I could probably knock a few dollars off if I get used.
I am going to check out Amazon when I get back from class tonight.
Erinina- Most of the books have the option to buy directly from Amazon with their "super saver free shipping." When you look up a book look at the used and new options...sometimes the Amazon book will cost a few dollars more but they will all ship for free! Other than that I just used which ever seller had the lowest price. Make sure they are the right edition and say CD included...unless you don't want the CD or the book doesn't have one! Good luck shopping!
Just purchased all my books from Amazon and the total was 840. I ordered them all directly from Amazon and not third parties that sell through Amazon so I got free shipping. My total included every book on the list all new, including the Davis's Drug Guide, which will be shipped as soon as it is released. I did lots of research and found Amazon was the best option for me! Feeling much better now that I took care of that! I also ordered my scope from steele.com. The total for that was around 150 for the cardiology III and engraving, which was the best price I could find for that scope.

Seems Amazon is the best way to go.. Especially because you can get some free -shipping with the books mostly all new
