UCF 2010-2011 accelerated nursing program

Published

I am applying and have requested all my transcripts, I did decent on the Teas test with an 86. Undergrad gpa 3.45, pre req 4.0

I went to the info session last month it was a bit of a pain :angryfire to sit through just to get the application passcode because of all the redundant you should do some research if your serious questions lol.

I am excited and hope to get in to move forward with my life goals of community health nursing.

I am also applying to UNF's program too. Their website is really detailed with everything I ever wanted to know. One of the few schools that have their stuff together.

Specializes in ICU.
cardiology III and engraving, which was the best price I could find for that scope.

Do you plan to continue on in cardiology or work in that after graduation?

No but I wanted a good scope that I can use after I graduated. I work at the ORMC now and asked around and that was the one that most of the nurses recommended and actually none of them work in cardiology. I also have some freinds in the accelerated program now who recommeded that I buy the cardiology III. They ended up purchasing it after they already bought the classic so I just figured I would buy it now rather then spending the money on the classic and them turning around and buying the other one as well.

The color options were lacking though in comparison to the classic colors :crying2:

Not a big deal I know . . . but i really wanted the lilac one!

What color did you settle for Kaiti?

I am upgrading to the cardio III also. Red I think.

I got the grey...not very exciting but I wanted a light color and they didn't have very many options.

That's exciting enough, Kaiti!! I just got a text that mine is on its way via FedEx :yeah:I have read lots of really good reviews about this scope so I can't wait to give it a try.

Has everyone's immunizations and other forms finally been approved on Magnus??

Most of mine were, however, my TB shot and Health Form read: Expired 4/01/10 (even though I submitted them on 4/05/10). I called and it was a mistake. They told me I would have to contact the school to get this fixed.

Mine are still pending approval.

Not a single form has been approved on the Magnus tracker. All of mine still say pending approval.

Has anyone received there CPR card from UCF via mail? I asked about get a photo copy or the card in the mail and have not recieved a response. Do we still have to add the card to the Magus tracker even though we got it through the school?

I asked C. if I sent a self addressed and stamped envelope if she could mail me the cards and she said yes. But I ended up being able to pick them up in person after all..but she did tell me that would be fine.

She told me that they do still need to be uploaded to Magnus. ..

One of mine said it expired too for some reason, so I contacted C. and she said she would look into it. I re-uploaded it though..only one of mine said that and all the others were approved.
