Hi everyone!
Wanted to start a post so we can stay connected through the process! Application opens October 26, 2020 – November 2, 2020 for starts dates February 22, 2021 – April 19, 2021. Any one else applying?
Yep on the website it gives you a format to follow. Should be at the bottom of this link: https://hr.ucdavis.edu/careers/nursing/residency/apply

Patient care services is referring to basically every other unit in the hospital, they don't specify every unit hiring, hope that helps :)
Okay so I may be overthinking here, but hear me out LOL. On the website it says to only upload your Resume, Cover Letter, and Transcripts under the Resume portion, but on the online application there's still a separate place that gives you the opportunity to upload the cover letter.... so are you leaving that blank or do you think maybe they recently added that cover letter portion but didn't update the website?
@Whitney E Turn everything in with one PDF under the resume section and leave the cover letter upload option blank.

Okay thanks! I better get all this over-thinking out before the NCLEX LOL.
As far as I understand, in the past the nurse recruiters that initially go over our applications only send the one application to the department that you had your preceptorship in... so even if we were to explain multiple units we were interested in the cover letter, or send multiple applications for different departments, they would ultimately only send it to the department of your preceptorship. However! This may not be 100% accurate! And/or things may have changed this time around. Just my understanding from previous application rounds
