UC Davis Nurse Residency Program Spring 2021

Hi everyone!

Wanted to start a post so we can stay connected through the process! Application opens October 26, 2020 – November 2, 2020 for starts dates February 22, 2021 – April 19, 2021. Any one else applying?

@Rinkishikika : hi! How does your status change after your interview if you don't mind me asking? ? I had an interview last week and did my reference check the day after but my status still says “routed for further consideration” ?

it changed after my interview. This is not for residency though. It's been almost 2 weeks since they interviewed me. I just need to know if I did not get the job so I can move on and apply/accept other offer.

don’t be discouraged guys, I heard that you still may receive the reference check later, and it doesn’t mean anything. 
Hopefully we all will hear something soon...

do you know if they will send rejection emails to those who weren’t selected? 
 

Hello! I read your post from a previous UC Davis New Grad Nurse Residency application round (I think for fall 2020?) that you did not have a preceptorship experience because your school did not offer it. I am in the same boat without an option to have a preceptorship, graduate in December, and looking to apply to the residency program still. Were you able to get around not having a preceptorship? if so, how? Congrats on getting your reference check and to the others here and thanks for all the help and advice everyone!

I really need help with the keyword on resume and cover letter. I submitted my application 4 months ago and no one has contacted me yet. My application is still under review ? Kinda lose hope here -.-
