UC Davis New Grad Residency Fall 2020

Is anyone planning on applying? Application period opens up April 29th. I am curious how it will work out with unit placement when so many programs in CA did not get to finish their preceptorships.

I interviewed for float pool a few weeks ago and have another interview coming up for the women's pavilion. My application status is still "application under review".

Hello everyone!

I recently got a job offer for the UC Davis new grad residency program. I wasn't able to take the NCLEX until this past week. Because of this and since I am not from Sacramento, I need to move and find a place ASAP before the start date. If any of you need a roommate or know of someone that does please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it!!

I have also been in contact with someone else who is starting the program who is also is looking for a place. So if possible for two bedrooms that would be amazing, but if not please still let me know for the one room you may have.

Which unit are you hired to? Did you get your offer today?

I interviewed 2 weeks ago for float pool (Oct start)and got my reference check the same day but haven't heard back yet.....

I got it few days ago, from ER. They will reach back just hang in there. Are you from California or the Bay area? Am from New York.

I accepted an offer for the October cohort! I actually went to nursing school in New York but I am originally from California.

Oh that's very nice. I don't know much about apartment search out there. Do you have any advice or suggestion for that?

Has anyone who interviewed for the October Critical Care/ICU float pool heard back?

Also - for anyone who has heard back in general, about how long from your interview date did you hear back by?
