Hey guys,
How did casper go? I didn't feel too good about the first 2-3 questions but got the hang of it a bit later. I got accepted into my second program yesterday and my status changed to "currently being reviewed" for nursing! roughly 60 days left till we find out!!
Congrats on your acceptance to your 2nd program! ?
CASPer was wild LOL. My very first question was about Aboriginal incarceration rates which spooked me because I was not expecting that at all! Thank goodness the rest were all teamwork/conflict scenarios that I was way more familiar with!
I'm already counting down the days!!

Hi! Does anyone know if the GPA calculation for the most recent 30 credits comes only from the bachelor's degree, or if it also includes courses taken as an unclassified/non-degree student if those are most recent? Thank you ?

Courses taken as an unclassified/non-degree student should also count into GPA calculations as long as they are within your most recent 30 credits and they were finished before December 2019!

Thank you that's what I was thinking as well, but I just called admissions and they said they only count courses from the bachelor's degree so I'm even more confused now LOL

oh WOW! that's really surprising! Good thing you emailed admissions. I just went off what was on their slideshow in their FAQ.

Agreed, this is really weird because I had a deferred class from September that was not part of my degree and they wouldn’t update my file until I submitted the grades in a newly ordered transcript after the final date!

Yes actually I called them and the person on the phone sounded a little unsure and told me to email them as well. I haven't gotten an email back yet so I'm still a bit confused haha

Hi everybody! A friend just told me about this forum and WOW! I wish I knew about this while I was applying! This is my first time and I'm super anxious about the wait too. Only approximately 1.5 months left before we know!!
How is everybody coping with social-distancing and the COVID-19 news?

I hope COVID-19 doesn't push admission decisions further out.
I feel like I am learning so much about patience through this entire admission process, hahaha.
Maybe it’ll speed up admissions because everyone is working from home so they have more time to focus on ranking our applications ?
Jokes aside, I hope everyone’s staying safe and has found stuff to do to pass the time inside! 4-6 more weeks til we hear!
