Hey!
Just wanted to start this for anyone looking to apply to the 2020 cycle for UBC accelerated nursing. Let's share what we'll be applying with and any other info :).

Edit: Oh forgot to mention that this is my first time applying! Acceptance or rejection, I'm going to roll with it!
Yay! Feels so good to have it in and not worry about it anymore. I'm thinking of moving my CASPer up just so I can end the stress sooner, it really is the worst test ever ? Good luck, you've got this!!

Good luck to you too! ? Don't worry, once you get into the zone, you'll be flying through the questions.

I have submitted my application and recently completed my CASper test. Anyone have an idea when admission offer will go out?
Also, does anyone know schools still accepting application for the accelerated program because I only applied to UBC☹️
I received my acceptance on May 2nd

I applied having earned a previous Bachelors, graduating in May 2019 from UBC and 9X% in last 30 credits (can't remember, sorry). I couldn't tell you where I stood with my supplemental application or CASPer because I was directly admitted so I didn't receive those stats from the SON.
My cohort is amazing - super supportive and encouraging! BUT... Not going to sugar coat it... The program itself is disorganized and a logistical nightmare (e.g., clinical placements, lab times, receiving references/confirmations from the school, fees that weren't explicit, etc.). However, I wouldn't want to spend another 3+ years doing a bachelors so I find this is the quickest way out!
