I am currently a 3rd-year Science student at SFU. I'm debating whether I should apply to UBCV or UBCO this cycle (can only apply to one). I've completed over 80 credits and currently have a cGPA of 3.97 but my last 2 semesters haven't gone well (my cGPA was above 4.00 before) so I think when UBC calculates my marks it will come to 81% average. I've volunteered at one of SFU's labs for 8 months, volunteered at the hospital for 15 months, and worked as a tutor for 4 months. I think I probably don't have any chances this year. I'm thinking I should just apply to UBCO. Thoughts? It kind of sucks to go into 4 years after already doing 3 years at university but it's probably better to get into a program rather than not, right? I am also applying to TRU and UFV.
