UBC Nursing - September 2013

Hey Everyone!

I'm hoping to apply for UBC nursing 2013, but I am a little worried as I haven't volunteered for 2 years. My question is, if I get back into volunteering this summer will my chances of being accepted be higher?

Got rejection letter 3rd year in a row and I'm a nurse (LPN) already.I guess everything has to happen for a reason.

I will continue to believe I am a great nurse and not let this rejection get me down! Good luck to all of you with offers. An exciting 2 years ahead of u guys for sure.

Are people interested in a Facebook group for the 2013-2015 cohort? I'm thinking about making one and then we can chat fun stuff like orientation, scrubs, and immunizations there ;)

Hello all!

I got my acceptance last night as well! So excited!! Just wondering, if there are anyone on this forum who went in for an interview on the 19th of april for 2 pm. It be great to have some people that I recognize. Also, i will be moving from Ontario, so wondering if anyone is in the same boat and looking for a place to live. Any suggestions for the best/cheapest place to live in BC that is at a reasonable distance form UBC? Let me know when the Facebook page is up. :)

I was rejected by four different schools, three of them two years in a row. It stings for sure.

Hey for those who got rejected, last year I applied to 5 different law schools and didn't get into a single one. Keep working hard and stay positive and you'll fall into the right thing at the right time soon enough! :)
