  1. I got rejected wow that hurts..
  2. I am very hard on myself as well. This can be a good and bad thing. This is always listed under my personal weakness, that I find for myself. But I am hard on myself, so that it makes me strive for greatness. So I can see that in a lot of you folks who are posting here. It already says something about yourself going and checking on this thread. ....I've found that it shows just how much me want this. :)...so that is on our side.
  3. I think we should hear back around may 7th. That is what I read form older posts.
  4. I agree with a few people. I had around two interviewers that didn't show any reaction when I talked with them. So I did get slightly afraid I wasn't conveying what I wanted to. So I looked at them harder and it made me that much more determined to try to put my heart into what I was discussing. As for advice. As I say to others, put your heart into it. If you are a compassionate person, I genuinely feel like you cannot hide that fact. I did think that these interviews were great for assessing others. When you have to think on your feet, it is hard to hide the person who you really are, this is true especially when you are nervous. As others said as well, the interviewers are very nice, and try very hard to put you at ease during this process. :)
  5. Interviews were great. :).... and so now the wait to be accepted or not starts now. =-) hehe oh so stressful! Good luck to everyone. I met a lot of nice people. Everyone has a right to be accepted. As the Associate Director said everyone is so diverse. This will be a good group going through hopefully, just based off of a few of the people that I met yesterday.
  6. Was the invite left in your inbox for hotmail etc. or the inbox for the UBC site itself? I am checking both, just to make sure I don't miss anything!!!! This is exciting, but nerve wrecking.
  7. I also am an international student. I am from Washington. I do worry about this fact as well, but as long as your grades are good, and are positive good luck will come to you. :)
  8. I too am worried. But I believe everything happens for a reason. I am so excited for this month. I also read that they started doing interviews last year around the 22nd, in the form of an email. I look forward to everyone keeping each other updated on this site. Some people can become negative with this process, but what I've learned in life, is to be positive with each other. That is what truly makes a good nurse. Sooo exciting!!
