UBC BSN September 2017

Published

Hi Everyone!

I've been searching for a thread for applicants to UBC's BScN program for September 2017, but I haven't found one. Please feel free to point me in the direction of an existing thread, or add to this one! I'm applying to UBC, U of T, and UWO for September, but UBC is definitely my first choice. Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

:)

Congrats on getting on the reserve list! Did they tell you your place on the list?

Yup, I'm number 19. So I literally have to wait until the end of June I guess....

just got my rejection letter. supplemental top 25% casper top 50%. GPA was in lowest percent.

not on the reserve. Congrats to everyone who did. Thanks for all the encouragement and support.

Congrats to those who made the reserve and those who got directly in.

incredibly grateful to all of you

Thanks! I already have a few things in mind to help strengthen my application for next year. I'll think of this year's application as a practice run :)

@Daisy2016, I'm so sorry. Please keep your head held high and apply again next year. I hope our paths cross in the future!

I just received my rejection letter too. There was no mention of a waitlist. So sorry everybody, and congratulations to all those who got in. This was such a competitive process. Don't give up, it wasn't meant to be this time.

I've been reading this forum for awhile, but this is my first post. I just received my rejection letter. I really don't know what to do, my stomach just sank. It just sucks knowing that I was in the top 50% for all categories, so knowing that I was close just hurts even more. UBC was the only school I applied to because I'm currently still doing my undergrad. If they didn't tell me I'm on the reserve list, does this mean there's no hope?

I'm so sorry to hear that :(

I got rejected too. I'm feeling like I won't have any chances now at the other school I applied since my supplemental app was my strongest part and UBC cared about it the most.

You can still apply to Humber college, I believe they take late applications.

Im so sorry to hear that guys :( No sign of acceptances yet?

I just got my acceptance. I'm in total shock. I was not expecting this at all.

Congratulations to those that got in this year, and I wish the best to those that didn't.
