UAB Summer 2014

I've been lurking here, looking to see if anyone would be starting a thread on the UAB MSN cohort for Summer 2014. Nobody has yet, so I'm doing it!

Application deadline is October 28th! Is anyone else applying to start next summer? I've applied to the WHNP program, and have gnawed my fingernails down to nubs over it.

So if they are stuffing envelopes and the mailing is going out, and I still can't see anything on Blazernet except that I have an ID but login "can't be authenticated" There is probably a rejection letter coming my way, right?

I still haven't got a letter in the mail. I'm so tired of waiting!

I emailed IT again today and didn't get a response. Its been 48 hours since I created my blazernet ID but I still can't log in. I get a message saying something like my "credentials cannot by authenticated." I feel as though I should be able to log in by now if I was accepted. Has anyone else gotten a similar message?

I've been getting that message since last week.

Here's a response I got from CB when I wrote her telling her I registered an ID but still couldn't log in:

"Please wait to receive your letter which will be mailed tomorrow. Admitted students will receive a packet with a checklist and instructions."

This makes me think I wasn't admitted, since she says I'll get a letter and not a packet. :/

Nontraditional, yes we are :-) I don't think they really understand what they put us through. Did you all see that Tina Fey movie about admission committee to Ivy league school? Oh well, hoping we are all pleasantly surprised soon. 41 days and counting since app deadline

We have all talked ourselves in and out of being accepted a billion times since the blazerID creation fiasco. Lol! It dawned on me today I've been waiting 6 months! 6! I submitted my app in June!!! That's why we are nuts! I need to see that movie TheMolly! And ScaryK, letter/packet, same difference I highly doubt the person you spoke with meant anything by his/her flippant use of the word letter. Be mindful it took me 5 days to create a profile after I had an ID and for 5 days I got that same crap about credentials and authentication and an alias and whatev. I have driven myself NUTS! Y'all might get an acctance packet/letter before you can EVER see a profile. I still may get a denial too. It's not a yes or a no until it is! sO...we all need to sit back and CHILLAX! Have a glass or bottle of wine and...keep on waiting!

I got a message from IT this morning. The message stated that there is a pre-admit record for a student who does not have an ID in banner yet according to latest overnight feed. I am confused but am not gonna email IT again. It lists two different blazernet ids for me though. Could this be because I designated FNP as my first choice and WHNP as my second choice. Should I try to sign into blazernet with the I.d. that they listed?
