UAB Summer 2014

I've been lurking here, looking to see if anyone would be starting a thread on the UAB MSN cohort for Summer 2014. Nobody has yet, so I'm doing it!

Application deadline is October 28th! Is anyone else applying to start next summer? I've applied to the WHNP program, and have gnawed my fingernails down to nubs over it.

Weird. It can't hurt to try!

Totally weird. Maybe I'm not admitted but am just in the system because I have applied. Or maybe the blazer ids are designated by the nursing program.

@scareykarrey. I can try but I don't know if the password I created will work since the i.d. is different

If your password doesn't work, you could always try to reset your password in Blazer ID Central.

Reset password and I tried logging in. First time that I tried I did not get the can't authenticate credentials erro message. But it still wouldnt let me log in. Second try was unsuccessful as well too

Hmm, so there were two blazernet IDs? One you had registered and what was the other one? Something someone else had made up?

Lord...now I'm nervous about this blazerID business. I hope we didn't screw up registering one!

Nope, you've been able to log in and see that you've got a major and advisor assigned.

I just confirmed with IT that they put you into the system when you apply, and that you can register a BlazerNET ID even if you've been rejected. I think that means curtains for me. I guess I'll just wait for my letter now.

So then what does that mean for those that have an advisor assigned and holds on the account?

ScaryK, please don't give up. You don't know that. If they put all that apply in the system then why can't everyone register an ID? Also, why were we just now as of about a week ago able to register an ID? Shouldn't we have been able to months ago? Don't you think it's more than just a coincidence we were only able to register one AFTER decisions were made?!?! Ponder THAT and please remain positive.
