UAB Summer 2014

I've been lurking here, looking to see if anyone would be starting a thread on the UAB MSN cohort for Summer 2014. Nobody has yet, so I'm doing it!

Application deadline is October 28th! Is anyone else applying to start next summer? I've applied to the WHNP program, and have gnawed my fingernails down to nubs over it.

Do any of you guys have an email for a program coordinator or anything like that. The front desk lady is sweet but she doesn't seem to know her butt from her hand. IT tells me the system says I have missing transcripts. She doesn't seem to be able to tell me anything about the???? No mail here !! lol

Let us know if you figure anything out. I just called One Stop, and they said that I haven't been admitted yet because they're missing all of my transcripts, although I know that CB from the SON told me they had them all.

They never updated my application with transcripts or waived GRE etc...Somebody has bad info...

Well, this was the One Stop office that I talked to this morning, not the School of Nursing. Maybe once the SON finishes processing applications/admissions on their end, then One Stop is able to see everything in their system, and not before? I know, I'm terrible about speculating. I just wish I had an answer one way or the other at this point.

Has anyone gotten any mail today?

So, one of my co-workers applied too and he called the SON today and the lady said, "They are stuffing envelopes as we speak. Will be out in the mail today or tomorrow." He called around 11:30 CST. So...I'm thinking that means we will get them Friday or Saturday!
