UAB Summer 2014

I've been lurking here, looking to see if anyone would be starting a thread on the UAB MSN cohort for Summer 2014. Nobody has yet, so I'm doing it!

Application deadline is October 28th! Is anyone else applying to start next summer? I've applied to the WHNP program, and have gnawed my fingernails down to nubs over it.

Just had an advisors assigned today.

How long was it after being able to register a blazernet ID, that most of you were able to log in? And if so,

were you able to log in without difficulty, as in without having to contact IT?

Feeling discouraged now :(

It took days after registering to be able to log in! DO NOT lose hope! Stay positive!!

IT just confirmed as well via email. I have to wait 24-48 hours at least, if I'm still having problems after that, then I should contact registration.

I still honestly don't know why they'd take the time and effort to enter you into the system if you've been rejected. I'm still pretty confident that those of us who have been able to register a BlazerNET ID have been admitted.

courtney0189 I applied to acute care pads and it has PNP as my major also! My hope is that we are all just pooled together in the beginning since a lot of the classes will be the same at first. My fiend graduated from the ac-pnp program here and she thinks that at first, she was listed as PNP too. This brings me hope. I just really want a letter soon!!!!!

I think you're in FA2NS. Congrats. Some of us don't have all that access. Just a registered Blazer ID. but yes once you can log in after registering, I think that means you are pre-admitted

Hope you're right Scarykarrey. But I think it's automatic when you submit your application.( that's how they have your SSN, birthdate,etc already in there) Not something they have to" take time to do". And just because we might not be admitted yet, doesn't mean we might not be soon. I am sure there are some "first choices" that will decline and maybe we are on the back burner as a maybe. Hoping and praying it's just a big stack that is still taking time to get through.

I still believe that registering an ID means you are in too! I feel like they would NOT put forth the effort like ScaryK said to Enter birth dates and Socials into their system! It's Monday. I was just able to get in Friday. They were closed sat and sun most likely so you guys lost those days! Think of it that way and DO NOT lose hope!!!

The lady told me they were trying to send letters the beginning of this week. So, they are prob in the process of entering y'all as we speak! I was just able to even register an ID last Monday and from that day it took 5 days to be able to log in. So, y'all need to chillax and remain POSITIVE!
