I've been lurking here, looking to see if anyone would be starting a thread on the UAB MSN cohort for Summer 2014. Nobody has yet, so I'm doing it!
Application deadline is October 28th! Is anyone else applying to start next summer? I've applied to the WHNP program, and have gnawed my fingernails down to nubs over it.
Yep, they just connect you with your student profile via your SSN and date of birth. If your information is incorrect, that's probably a data entry problem on their end, and not because you registered your BlazerID.
Dimples7204, if you don't want to register a BlazerID until you are notified by the school, you don't have to! You can still check to see if you're in their system, without registering one. From all that I've seen, they enter you into their system if you've been admitted.
I've been following this thread for a while.
I applied to the Neonatal track! I created a blazer ID Wednesday, and was able to login and see my account including holds and program yesterday. Earlier today I was assigned an advisor.
I'm sure we'll receive letters soon!
Good luck and congrats everyone!
I've been following this thread for a while and I applied in FNP trackk. Didn't have much hope of getting in but I was able to create a blazernet ID today and of course it doesn't let you log in for 1-2 hours. I called IT like a mad women and just told the guy I'm not able to log into my profile and can you tell me what it says. He said it says incoming student, family NP!!!! I just really hope this means we're in!! I've gotten my hopes up now! I wonder if we will see anything in the mail today or if we just have to wait till Monday :/

Interesting. I created a Blazer Net ID and all of the information associated with my student profile confirms my program of study and my holds all appear to be correct. I don't foreseen it being a problem. From reading thru the BlazerNet Central, seems like everyone must create their own ID but if what you say is correct, that's going to be a headache. You would think they'd have a "safety net" of sorts to avoid this from happening. Anyhoo...congrats to those who got it in so far. I would not hesitate to create a BlazerNet ID just to know!
