I'm considering MEPN application to the UofA next year. I've been in touch with the advisor, Chris Sogge, for the past 3 years. I have a B.S. in Computer Science and a M.Sc. in Biology from Canada . Chris said that I need a pre-req GPA of 3.7 at least to get into the program; mine is 3.3. Do I stand any chances? Did anyone get in with lower pre-req grades? I'm trying to juggle pre-req taking with a toddler. Thanks so much for your advice!
I wouldn’t stress about it. Pretty sure they are going to change our start date and def will allow for an extension for requirements since obviously this is out of everyone’s control. I imagine by the end of this week we too will be on full lockdown. Today tucson and phx mayors announced all places people gather such as restaurants bars gyms etc are to close at 8pm tonight and stay closed. This is something we have never seen before and I’m sure the college is trying to figure it out but right now they are probably more worried about how to get the current mepn class finished up since I’m sure their clinicals are getting cancelled not to mention they’re having to do everything online which means no skills labs. Praying for our country and the world right now.
I briefly talked to Jason yesterday because I just started my Varicella sequence and won’t be done by the 10th. He said they will likely be pushing back the due date for everyone’s requirements given the current situation. He hadn’t heard anything final but my guess is our start date will also be pushed back ?

Did you submit like the order request or whatever for it? With the code they sent out?
I don’t think they’ve sent it out, yet. The previous recording didn’t get sent out until the following Monday so I assume we can expect the same timeframe for this one.
Hey all! Did anyone get a link to the recording of the second webinar that took place on the 25th?
Also, I'm guessing everyone got the memo that the first two months of the program will be all online?
No link to the webinar yet but I did receive the all-online email. How does everyone feel about it being 100% online? I was looking forward to starting study groups to help with the amount of studying we will have to do....
I will be moving to Phoenix mid-June if anyone would like to get together before our in-person start date.
