Hi guys, Is it possible to take more bio/chem courses to raise the pre-req GPA, or is it just the 8 pre-reqs listed on the website that you need a 3.6 in? Thanks! Marina.

Thank you very much for your replies. I have a non-nursing bachelor's and a master's in biology, both earned in Canada. I have 10 years of work experience as a software engineer in a hospital molecular biology research lab, not clinical, not with patients. My undergrad was earned in 2004 and my masters was earned in 2015 - are they outdated? Hi everyone, I'm considering MEPN application to the UofA next year. I've been in touch with the advisor, Chris Sogge, for the past 3 years. I have a B.S. in Computer Science and a M.Sc. in Biology from Canada . Chris said that I need a pre-req GPA of 3.7 at least to get into the program; mine is 3.3. Do I stand any chances? Did anyone get in with lower pre-req grades? I'm trying to juggle pre-req taking with a toddler. Thanks so much for your advice! Marina.
