Hi!
I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!
My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.
How about y'all?
Hi! I am applying to Houston as well, I am a transfer student with 46 points on the spreadsheet. Your scores are amazing, congrats! I am from Dallas so moving to Houston is gonna be crazy for me (IF I get in lol). I am worried about housing/cost to attend/being able to have a job while in class. I am considering opening a forum for transplant students to Houston!
Oh my gosh, we are in the exact same position! I ALSO have 46 points and am from dallas but applied to Houston and am going to be packing up and moving there if I get in as well!! So crazy!
Does anyone know how we can find roommates?! I know twu Houston doesn't offer student housing

The school does keep a list to help connect students looking for roommates. Also, once you get in and someone creates a FB page for your class, many students will post looking for roommates, and some upperclassmen will join to post roommate requests too. That's kind of the easy part.
And the waiting game begins... so nervous!
I submitted my application for the Houston program in July, and I have one more transcript to submit with updated grades. My stats are: Nursing GPA = 4.0, Prereq GPA = 3.7, TEAS composite = 89.3, Prior bach bump = 62.93 points.
Good luck, everyone! Oct/Nov can't come soon enough!

I think that that course is for current TWU students who are doing their core curriculum at TWU. If you have your Texas core curriculum already completed at the time of application you do not need to have those extra courses done for your degree. I think I was told that by somebody, but of course you should double check with the admissions office. They'd know for sure.
