TWU Spring 2018

Hi!

I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!

My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.

what are the hours for clinicals? and is it possible to have labs and clinicals the same day?

There are no pre-determined hours for clinicals. It depends on where you are placed and what is available that semester.

It is not possible to have lab and clinical in the same day.

Hi everyone!

I applied for the Spring 2018 traditional program. I had a question about one of my prerequisites. I took Gen Chem over 10 years ago and got a C in the lab and the class. I took the class again in 2015 and got an A in both the lab and lecture. When I had an advising appointment, I realized they put in the C grades to figure my points in the Excel document. Will the newer Chemistry class not count? I'm hoping they take the newer class because I did way better in that class. Just want to know so I can tell where I stand. Need all my points since I don't have any bumps.

Log into your ATI account and click on your results tab. On the page with your results there will be a "share" button, click this and go from there.

Hello! I applied for TWU Houston and was curious about the cost of attendance too! I currently live in Dallas but my points ended up being 46 so I applied to Houston, since I will be picking up and moving there I was curious as to what I would be looking at in terms of loans

I am applying for Spring 2018 admissions and I was told we are allowed to take Pathophysiology before being accepted/starting nursing school, has anyone done this? If so do they allow transfer students to take the online class?

Hi! I am applying to Houston as well, I am a transfer student with 46 points on the spreadsheet. Your scores are amazing, congrats! I am from Dallas so moving to Houston is gonna be crazy for me (IF I get in lol). I am worried about housing/cost to attend/being able to have a job while in class. I am considering opening a forum for transplant students to Houston!

You have to email a nursing advisor for the class code, then they will tell you how to do the rest.
