Hi!
I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!
My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.
How about y'all?
Hi, J1 here... Houston classes are on Monday & Tuesday from 8AM to 5PM (Mondays) and 4:30 PM (Tuesdays), also there is one clinical a week (during J1) and a lab that is 4 hours and can be either Morning or afternoon, and those 2 are held Wed-Sat.
Almost every semester you will be in class Monday all day, and part of Tuesday. In J2 clinical is 2 times a week, and I think after that it becomes 3 times.

That's really up to you, everyone in the program says it's challenging and 15 hours is the max they would work. I think it depends on the student. I'll let you know how my semester goes, I'm going to see what my limits are. However, I'm a rare bird, I took 31 credit hours a semester my first time around in college (without working) and graduated on the Dean's List, for pre-reqs for nursing, I took about 16 credit hours a semester (including summers) with 60+ hours a week of work, and 10-15 hours in volunteer commitments... so... my tolerance level is not the same as most people.
Also, I do not have a life LOL

That one clinical a week doesn't start until 6 weeks into the semester, is that correct? I thought I read that somewhere.

Kind of... though the clinical starts 6 weeks into the semester, the previous 6 weeks that day you will spend the time allotted for the clinical in a second lab learning the skills you will need for said clinical.

It's online, I don't remember what it's called but someone posted a link to it earlier in this forum.
