TWU Spring 2018

Hi!

I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!

My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.

Just sending you a quick note to remind you that applications for Spring 2018 admission to upper-division nursing are due soon! You must turn in your NursingCAS application by August 15, 2017 at 10:59 PM (midnight east coast time, where NursingCAS is located).

Just to let you know, due to some staff changes and our state's hiring freeze, we are desperately understaffed at the moment. There are only 2 of us nursing advisors to cover all three campuses. We're doing our best to keep up with emails, calls, and appointments. Nursing GPA: 3.4

Prereq: 3.43

TEAS: 82.7

Prior Bachelor from TSU

point: 42.50

If you read back the last page or two, seems like you should NOT be worried that you haven't received confirmation yet. Once they process your app they will apparently send you an email, but that could be pretty much at any time before acceptances gonout. Good luck!

Does anyone know if TWU updates the degree plan in the "webadvisor for students" portal? I noticed that all of my transcripts have been received but only TWO of my courses were posted...

Mine did not fully update/populate until after I was accepted. Also note, if you are a Post Bac only Post Bac courses will show on that.

From my understanding, they do not post transfer course but they do have it on record. I called admissions to make sure they had my transcript.

If you guys apply to Houston, I'd say you have a chance! The minimum number of points they took last semester was 38. I'm also applying to Houston! :)
