I think it is time we get our own thread for those of us who have been accepted to TWU's Houston program and plan to attend. :D

Hi Ihojo, I am from Dallas area. I will be moving down to Houston area as well. Are you still looking for place to stay?

Hi uponastar 16 yes I am currently looking online for places on craigslist. Did u find anything you liked when u went down to visit? I really want to stay in the inner loop/ rice village or med center if possible.

these areas are pretty expensive....very nice but expensive. unless you can find someone just renting a room or garage apt...dont mean to be negative just saying

I live at an apartment complex at 610 and 59....the rent is actually reasonable. I have a 1 bedroom and my boyfriend has a 2 and both rents aren't too bad compared to other areas in Houston.

I understand this area will be more spendy, but its worth not having to worry about parking if i can ride the train into the med center. I want to spend $650-700 including all bills. What is the name of your complex lcap?
