I think it is time we get our own thread for those of us who have been accepted to TWU's Houston program and plan to attend. :D

the "packet" that was sent out has a website you need to go to. WE have to pay for the test ourselves which sucks, but we have to get it done. You put in some information and they email you the information on where to go.

I thought drug test are usually free, it seems nothing is free these days anymore.

seriously, it cost $45.33 Hope we don't have to pay for the background test and fingerprinting.

45 bucks? I would expect that we would have to pay for the background test rather than the drug test! I'm pretty sure we are ganna have to take a drug test again to make sure we are drug free each semester,so it's a waste of money having to pay for that. Paying for school is expensive enuff.

what about our TB test and CPR training? I wonder when are they going to tell us to do that.Does our CPA training need to American Heart Association verified or not? I might as well get those out of the way now since I'm already doing related stuff.

I had to get recertified for my job and they did it about a week ago...hope its good enough

Can you explain what we should expect for drug screening? I mean what kind of sample they will require?

noni79, They will just ask you for a sample of your urine. That's it.

oH tHANK YOU ...I was thinking that they will might take hair and saliva samples too. IN case of urine sample I hope that they should give my appointment at least one week later.LOL. Anyways I filled out their information yesterday but they did not send me any thing regarding my appointment. Do you remember when they contacted you after filling out information?

lol!! i thought it was going to be different as well but they only asked me for a urine sample. it was a quick 2-minute process. well let's see, i filled out my information and submitted my payment this past monday and literally an hour or so later i received another e-mail that had my appointment date, which was for the following day (tuesday). you need to print out that confirmation e-mail and take it with you to your appointment along with your photo i.d. you can go anytime from 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. i went right before work at 8 and since it was early, i went in right away. ;)

check constantly the e-mail you listed when you filled out your information. you don't want to miss your appointment...
