TWU Spring 2014 Applicants

Hey everyone. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those hoping to get into TWU starting Spring 2014. My name is Kia and I have already sent in my application and completed my TEAS V exam. I'll be in the Denton campus patho class this fall (trying to wait patiently for an acceptance letter-GOD willing).

Does anyone know if it is still okay to turn in the transcript now...as long as its there before sept 1? Or does it take them time to update the classes I took and if that'll take longer than sept 1...does that mean my application would not be accepted?

Yes, you can still send in your transcripts at this time. I was told by the admissions processing office that they update transcripts everyday at 10:00am. I filled out my transcript request form at my local community college on Saturday and they sent it to TWU on Monday. Today I checked my pioneer portal and my transcript was updated around 10:30am. So you should be fine. If they do not get your transcript before September 1st then your application will not be accepted.

Ohh ok I see how it works now I wasn't sure I went and logged in and saw that my micro and a&p2 grades were up so that means its updated right? Thanks!!

Hey guys! Just wondering which TWU Nursing school you guys are applying to? I'm applying for the on in Houston. I got an 87% on my TEAS and I have a 3.6 GPA but a 3.4 science GPA :( I really hope I get can get in.

I'm finally done with my application to the Dallas campus! I took my TEAS V on Monday and I just called to verify they had received the results as well as my updated transcripts from the summer. From now on its just keeping my fingers crossed until November! It's a strange feeling to not be enrolled in any classes this semester.

I put all my grades in to their calculator and it looks like I'll have a 3.9 GPA. All A's except a B in English 1301 from 13 years ago, ugh. I have 4/4 preferences and I ended up with a 93.3% on the TEAS.

Good luck to everyone! I hope to meet those at the Dallas campus in January!

3.8 overall GPA (using TWU baccalaureate profile)

4/4 preferences

previous bachelor's from UH

89.7 TEAS

Hello everyone, im applying to the dallas campus and my stats are:

3.85 gpa, 3/4 preferences (B in statistics), and 74 teas v score.

Im really worried i wont get in because of my teas test. From what everyone has seen so far, do these stats sound like they'll be competitive enough? I will really appreciate any feedback i get. Thank you.
