TWU Spring 2014 Applicants

Published

Hey everyone. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those hoping to get into TWU starting Spring 2014. My name is Kia and I have already sent in my application and completed my TEAS V exam. I'll be in the Denton campus patho class this fall (trying to wait patiently for an acceptance letter-GOD willing).

I applied to Collin College in McKinney as well.

I also applied to TWU-H and UTHSC-H. Hope I get into one or the either.;)

Is anyone else taking Pathophysiology at Dallas campus (Monday mornings, 8:30-12:30) this semester? It would be awesome to get a study group together!

I just want to know. Will they start to hand out acceptances in October or November? I heard October but some say November. Hopefully we get to know earlier the better.

When I spoke to the admissions director for TWU Houston campus, she told me the beginning of November :/

Will you be in the Tuesday/Thursday class?

Sorry, I am just now seeing this. But yes, I am in the Tues/Thurs morning class.

has anybody heard anything from admissions since the deadline passed? not an admissions decision, just any communication?

How do you like it so far? Let me know if you or anyone else wants to get a study group together for this upcoming test!

I keep checking my email but have heard nothing.. Keeping my fingers crossed. Lets hope we find out sometime in October!! :)

So far, so good. But this is pretty much a review from A&P as well as Micro. As we get deeper into covering diseases, I wonder how it will be. And I am definitely up for a study group!

As far as hearing anything back yet, no I have not either. But I feel like that's a good thing. This early in the game, I would imagine they would only be contacting you if you are missing something or something is off. Fingers crossed!!!

I jinxed myself!!! I am not lying when I say that maybe 1 hour after posting this, I received an email stating that they had not received my TEAS V scores. So of course, I went crazy because I took the exam in May. But after an email to one of the advisers, found out I wasn't supposed to receive that email, just that the hyphen in my last name threw it off. Then she added "You're fine. I promise." at the end of the email. Maybe a slight indication I am getting accepted? LOL...one can dream, right? :D

Very true, I am sure it will more interesting as the semester progresses. If you are available, I will probably begin to study tomorrow after class in the library if you would like to join?! Also, what are your stats if you don't mind sharing?
