Hello!
I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!
I found the HESI to be much easier just because there is only an A & P section for science instead of being so broad. I prepared for both the same amount of time and bought the study material for both but made a 94% culm. Score on HESI & 74% on TEAS.For those of you who applied to both UTHSC and TWU, did you think the HESI A2 was harder or much different than the TEAS? I'm actually considering applying even though it would mean moving...

I live in Frisco (29 miles one way) but have decided to move closer to campus/hospitals. I am transferring my lease to a complex off of Oaklawn so my commute will be 5 mins! MUCH better than the 45 mins I was going to have to face. YUCK! Also, I heard J2 we will be doing really long shifts for L&D. I have a dog and that just wont work with living so far to let him out.
I'm scared to be living downtown but I think it will help a lot with school. What are you leaning towards??
