I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?

After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.

So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!

I thought people got the acceptance emails on the 30th. I called the 31st and they said they had a week from the day they were sent out. Wouldn't that mean that yesterday was the dead line? And today they will send them out? Maybe i i was not understanding the lady properly.

I think you're right. Are you on the waiting list?

Our letter says we must respond until November 7 at 5pm.

They might send new letters today right after 5pm.

Hello all! Congratulations to all of you who got accepted, I know you are super relieved/excited. And good luck to those who are waiting to hear. I was just wondering, for those who are going to the Dallas campus, how far away does everyone live from the campus? I know traffic in the morning in that area is CRAZY so I'm deciding if I need to move closer to campus, but I'm sure a lot of people are going to be commuting a ways to get to school too. How far is everyone driving to get to school? Thanks!!

I live in Keller/North Ft. Worth, so my commute will be about 40-45 min :)

Have you ever thought about taking the TRE? I'm pretty sure it stops pretty close to the campus.

I live by Shops at Legacy in Plano. 22 miles away. 30 minutes to get there.

Dallas. So was any one else confused by when the second batch of emails was going out? This whole process was wonky, we were all supposed to be in the exact same place October first. Now, they cant even tell us a proper date of email notification, a month later.

I don't know. Maybe try calling up there and ask when the second batch of emails will be sent. But from what someone else about them having until 5 today to accept or decline their spot, it seems like emails won't go out until tomorrow because I'm sure they close at five.

Just called. I got the best reply ever - "If any emails go out for the second batch, it will be some time next week". This is well organized twu, i applaud you.
