I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!
Has anyone also applied to UT-HSC? I know their e-mails don't go out until mid Nov and a lot of people accept their letters from TWU 1st if they get accepted but then end up going to UT-HSC if they get accepted with them. I applied there in Fall, followed that forum and saw a lot of them who did that.

Hi! The first wave of acceptances from UTHSC went out 2 weeks ago. Check your status on myuth :)
Ive been reading in the UThsc forum that they have already sent acceptance letters through email... They mentioned that they had to check their junk box! so if you applied there, i would check your email again and be sure to look in your junk folder!
I applied to UT-HSC and did not get accepted during the first round of emails they sent out. They started sending out emails of acceptance super early, around the 20th if I remember correctly. I am on the wait list and didn't receive any kind of notification from them yet. I read about people being accepted all the way up until the first week of classes so even if you didn't get an email the first round for either schools, don't lose hope. Super thankful that I got into TWU.

I got in to the Houston center!!! My stats are:
3.6 gpa
3.75 science gpa (3 out of 4 first attempt A's)
92 teas
congrats everyone that has been accepted!!! and don't give up to those still waiting on an email!!
