I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!
Hi Everyone. Congratulations to those who already received letters. I got accepted to Houston Center. I'm excited and can't wait to meet all of you! My stats are the following:
GPA: 4.0 cumulative (no repeats)
Teas: 84%
4/4 first attempt A's
No bumps
AA degree at HCC

I just got the chills for all of you. I WANT TO BE WHERE YOU ARE NOW!!! Oh my. Have to wait until Spring to apply. But I am stoked for all you who are getting your letters of acceptance and anxious for all of you who are waiting chewing your fingernails off!
Oh wow. Which campus did you apply to? I'm hoping maybe they're sending out emails in batches? Might just be wishful thinking though. When I emailed the admissions coordinator earlier this year, she said the average GPA of students who get accepted is a 3.7 and average TEAS score is 80. We're both above those so I don't see why we wouldn't be accepted unless there were a bunch of people who applied this time who were perfect. Either way, I'm feeling really defeated. :/

I got into the Houston campus, but will probably be turning it down for UTMB. So keep your hopes up, there might be at least one more spot available.
