  1. I received my nursing packet from the Houston campus today. January is getting closer. Super Excited.
  2. I used a book called Mc-Graw-Hill's Nursing School Entrance Exams and it helped me a lot. I would just be aware that the science portion covers a broad range of material with a lot of Chemistry in my case. There were a couple of earth science questions that I hadn't been exposed to in a while so study up on that. I actually ran out of time during math but I ended up getting a 92 so it all worked out. I personally felt that the TEAS was harder than the HESI (I got a 94.4) just because there was more science prep. involved. The HESI anatomy questions I found to be more in-depth than the ones on the TEAS however. I hope that helps.
  3. I'm waitlisted as well, but I was accepted into TWU so I am just going to go ahead and commit to them. Good luck to everyone!
  4. I applied to UT-HSC and did not get accepted during the first round of emails they sent out. They started sending out emails of acceptance super early, around the 20th if I remember correctly. I am on the wait list and didn't receive any kind of notification from them yet. I read about people being accepted all the way up until the first week of classes so even if you didn't get an email the first round for either schools, don't lose hope. Super thankful that I got into TWU.

I am crossing my fingers I will be able to join you.
