TWU Spring 2013 Applicants!

Published

Hello!:yeah:

I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?

After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.

So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!

It doesn't make me feel great, but thanks a mil for the info!

Hey guys, so I just got my acceptance letter from PVAMU, I'm trying to do some research on some of the benefits between PVAMU and TWU. I'm trying to see which will provide more job opportunities after graduation.....not finding much info. If you guys have any info, please share.... :) Thanks in advance!

So I emailed the admissions coordinator and asked when acceptance letters will go out (even though I'm sure she gets a million emails asking the same question everyday) and she said they expect acceptance letters to be sent out by the end of the month and rejection letters are sent out in mid November. That's a little over a week away! I can't wait.

Awesome!! I looked back at old threads, and for the past three years everyone got their acceptance letters before November 1st. We should get our letters within the next ten days!!

...just waiting:sorry:waiting:(waiting:unsure:waiting:banghead:

Is everyone else checking their email every 30 min?

Yes....I am equally anxious and terrified!! Anxious to get the email and terrified that I won't. :)

We are getting so close....Just a few more days! Good luck to EVERYONE!

:-) stay positive.

Does everyone already have all of their vaccinations up to date already? I still need to get my Hep B. I should have already done it because I know it takes 6 months. Do you think that could prevent me from attending the Spring semester (if I am accepted?)

My advisor told me that as long as you have the first two done (and I think they only are a month apart) then you can attend clinicals. You should be fine if you get started now! Just to be sure, however, I would call a nursing advisor and ask them. :)

Hello future students :)

FYI I'm starting a blog to jot down what happens every week during my nursing school adventure (hoping it might help future students in what to expect and also just nice to have for me in the future to look back on). My Life as a Nursing Student

Good luck everyone!!!

Hey, are you still blogging about your life as a nursing student? If so, could you send me a link please?
