Hi - I am applying to TWU Houston Campus for Spring 2015 and I wanted to see any other 2015 TWU hopefuls out there!
I will be taking Microbiology this summer so that I can have my core courses completed by Sept. 1st. As of right now I have first-try A's in AP I and II as well as Statistics... Just need to get my Micro completed and out of the way. I am a very nervous because I was not as focused on school as I should have been when I was younger. My cumulative GPA is only 3.4. Ugh! My prereq GPA is 3.8.
Also, I took the dreaded TEAS V test this week and my score was not as high as I would have liked but I passed! 77%. Anyone else take their TEAS yet? How did you do?
Like the rest of us I'm sure, I've been completely obsessing with going over the required prereqs and requirements for admissions the past few days (trying to pass time till Oct. I suppose haha). On TWU's website they have an excel spread for calculating your GPA yourself, how they will be calculating it, and there are two blocks on the spreadsheet that I'm unsure of. CAO (Univ) 1231 and CAO (other). What classes fill in these slots? I'm being such a worry wart!
I honestly have no clue, my adviser filled out the spreadsheet for me and those slots are blacked out. Don't stress, there's not much we can do now it is out of our hands!
It is hard to believe the deadline was over two weeks ago! We're just that much closer. I haven't received any contact through my TWU email, so hopefully nothing is better than something? :)
I'm hoping that no news is good news!!! I called and asked when letters would be sent out: mid to late October. October 27 is exactly 8 weeks from the deadline, so 40 more days until we know our results! (That way we don't get our hopes up too early....)
I received 4 emails from twu you today and when i first saw them i got so excited andddddd it all turned out to be pretty much junk mail haha fml. The two weeks has felt like two months for me already, im all about instant gratification so this is killing me lol.
