Hi - I am applying to TWU Houston Campus for Spring 2015 and I wanted to see any other 2015 TWU hopefuls out there!
I will be taking Microbiology this summer so that I can have my core courses completed by Sept. 1st. As of right now I have first-try A's in AP I and II as well as Statistics... Just need to get my Micro completed and out of the way. I am a very nervous because I was not as focused on school as I should have been when I was younger. My cumulative GPA is only 3.4. Ugh! My prereq GPA is 3.8.
Also, I took the dreaded TEAS V test this week and my score was not as high as I would have liked but I passed! 77%. Anyone else take their TEAS yet? How did you do?
I agree too, that's much sooner than I was expecting, now I'm even more nervous! PS, maybe I'll call too as I've only ever received the email stating my application has been submitted...

I know it's a bit early to ask this, but do any of you have an idea of when our orientation date would be if we were to be accepted? I'm in a situation where I need Important dates for dec. planning asap.
I called and was told if there were any questions they would have contacted me through the Pioneer Portal, and that they are still processing applications so it may be middle of October before we hear anything!
Oh wow, that really clears things up, thanks! Good thing you've got yours sorted out. I checked my unofficial transcript and it says Core In Progress still, though TWU hasn't contacted me about it yet. I was told today they are still processing applications so I feel like I'll probably get an inquiry in regards to that soon!

I told the woman I spoke with that I check it every couple hours. She told me I should change that to couple of days....fat chance! hehehehe I am getting so nervous/excited/antsy/tired-of-waiting!
I am too! Co-workers, family, and friends have been asking me on a daily basis whether I've been accepted anywhere yet, and I just kind of nervously laugh like "Nope, not yet."
Do we know how many they take per application cycle? I feel like I remember them saying it was around 300 (or maybe 200) at an open house I attended in February, but I could be mistaken!
