TWU Fast Track Summer '09

Is anyone out there applying for the fast track program starting in the summer for the Dallas campus? I am applying. Will have my pre-reqs completed in January. I am very stressed about them only accepting 30 students!!! Does anyone have any thoughts, concerns, anything??!? I think I am going crazy waiting for April to come to know if I got in or not! :bugeyes:

Maybe they are checking other things beside GPA and NET, like credit report.. ouchh !!

ok...guys...right now. I'm really confused... I mean totally confused.

Today I called nursing department...they said it won't be next week but the week of 16th of March. And lovelovelove called yesterday saying that it would be like end of March. Well, right now I'm really not sure but I guess the difference is just one week.

Also for those of you who applied for fast track, i asked for you too... they still say it is gonna be first week of April. So good news!!! I'm so happy for you guys.:) My guess is that they are working on the applications at the same time.

Okay, so fast track finds out one week before traditional? That doesn't make any sense since if you aren't accepted into fast track you're automatically entered into the traditional pool. One week doesn't seem like enough time to re-evaluate with the new applications. This is driving me crazy!

it sounds like we get a different answer with whoever answers the phone! i had my fiance call today! lol. answer was mid march again. they're probably just sick of us calling! :) i'm going to have some wine and try to forget about it for the rest of the weekend. hope everyone has a relaxing weekend!

btw, i got a good laugh at the credit score comment polska!

Last Monday I got a call from TWU and the lady was asking me about some credits. I was really surprised when she said that they were processing my application.

How bored are we from all this waiting? Maybe we should compare GPAs and NET scores again.....lol. I mean, you know...if there are more than 30 people on here with GPAs over 4.0 and NET score over 75, then I guess we know where we stand, right? :banghead: By the way, congrats to all of you who have both of those things!

I unfortunately only have one of them. :cry: I hope it's enough.

By the way, that's just a criteria that I came up with...nothing official.

im not applying to this fast track. but ill entertain you lol. i have a 3.45 gpa and a 76 net score.. lol.

Okay, that's one of the things I was wondering. I know they give a four-tenths GPA boost to those who have completed a certain number of credits at TWU but I was wondering if it capped out at 4.0. From the last post I gather that it doesn't, so some people can be applying with a 4.4. That scares me because I have a 4.0 but it's all from TCC and TCU so I'm really worried.
