Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?
I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.
My account summary still says 0... But at the bottom of the account summary page theres something that says by term or something?? I just clicked that and then selected the term and it showed the costs...
I received my award letter on yesterday a few hours after I spoke with one of their financial aid counselors. It seemed like they were processing everyones aid, but if you were attending the summer session, they would process it faster. As far as when the money actually credits your account...I am still waiting
I swear I thought I was poor but obviously financial aid thought differently. For those expecting big bucks, don't be surprised when it comes back 90% loans.
I am a Junior II Nursing Student at TWU. Maybe I can help answer you guys questions and tell you guys about my experience and what to study or concentrate for.
I wish I knew what supplies we actually NEED. I was way too overwhelmed with all the stuff we could buy at the advisement session that "might be useful." I just want to know what I truly need so that I can make sure I have it. Is there a list somewhere?
And so far I have nothing as far as financial aide goes.
But what about the stethoscopes, pocket protectors, and the plethora of other things they had for us to buy? They should have divided it up, "stuff you'll need" and "stuff that comes in handy"...
I've got all my transcripts done, but still waiting for the second/third rounds of hep-b & varicella.
Okay, I am still a little confused about what book to get for Patho. Anyone order one yet???
If you talking about the summer patho class in Houston, the teacher has finally posted the book info online. If you do a search for the class (as if you were registering for it) and you look to the right of the class details, there is a link that says syllabus, books, instructor vitae. Click on the link that says books and the isbn is posted. This should work for all sections of patho.

Okay, I found it under eBill in Portal, but in WebAdvisor, my account summary still says zero...weird.
Anyone know when payment is due?
