Hi everyone! I am hoping to get a thread started for future Texas Woman’s University nursing students. I have been finishing up my pre requisites and planning to apply for fall nights and weekends. I would love to hear from other potential nursing students hoping to get into the TWU fall 2023 cohort.

Yes on nursingcas website
Out of curiosity, what makes dallas more competitive? I assumed it would be houston because of the TMC but I'm not familiar with schools outside this area so I don't know much

I have no idea, Dallas campus is also surrounded by hospitals and research institutions. Cause my pre-nursing advisor said that based on the old spreadsheet, 40-50 is considered as competitive for Houston while for Dallas is 50-60

You're not submitting results anywhere, you just check off yes that you agree w their protocol when you submitted the nursing CAS application. TWU has access to castlebranch and views our results there when going through our application

I think you are right. We are required to submit the results after acceptance.
Do they send rejection letter too? just curious ??
Hello Everyone! About a week ago I got an email telling me my application cannot be considered because of a low individual score on my TEAS. I thought their approach was going to be more holistic considering my GPA is fairly good and I have a lot of experience. I've read a lot of threads here from past applicants and I think I got my hopes up since they said they got accepted with fairly low scores. It is expected since they said you needed a 64% and above. But good luck to everyone else! This thread was very helpful!

So when you placed the order on castle branch, once finished, the results are already there for TWU to see from their castle branch account. That's why they require we use our school email when making an account and placing the background order. We aren't sending the results anywhere ? and yea they do send rejections out as well! I am crossing my fingers for all of us.

Yeah the lab grade counts as 1 credit and the lecture counts as 3 credits. My science classes were together so it was one grade and was a 4 credit class. So when you input in a GPA generator, make sure the lab grade is 1 credit ?
