Hi everyone! I am hoping to get a thread started for future Texas Woman’s University nursing students. I have been finishing up my pre requisites and planning to apply for fall nights and weekends. I would love to hear from other potential nursing students hoping to get into the TWU fall 2023 cohort.

I think that never changed. I wish you best of luck if you decide to retake the TEAS and apply again. Many of us have taken the TEAS a lot ? it was rough for me hahah. I'm glad this thread has been helpful for you! Best of luck.
Thank you! You as well! It was my third time taking it so it was worth a try to still submit my application ?
Hey Guys,
I applied to the Houston Campus for TWU and didn't know about this website until a few hours ago. I was wondering if y'all could look at my stats and let me know what my chances are of getting in.
I got an 85.3 for my TEAS.
My science GPA is 3.56 and my prerequisite GPA is 3.69.
Some other things I have is that I had two past medical mentorships and am currently a medical scribe at a psych facility.
I'm really nervous after reading people ask if they will get in with a 90+ TEAS score and a 3.8+ GPA. Do y'all think I should just start preparing for Spring 2024 ??

There is a chance you will get into Houston. It all depends on the applicant pool. Nobody will know what scores and GPA gets in for the fall cohort until acceptance letters are set out. Good thing is we will know early April, so not much longer to wait. Good luck to you!

Hi Hong,
Could you please share how to apply for this Transfer Scholarship? I saw this scholarship on the portal; however, it shows as below that "You will be automatically considered based on your completed General Application".
Are you mentioning this scholarship or another one?
Thank you.

Yea this scholarship was what I meant. You need to sign in TWU Pioneer Scholarship Portal by your TWU email, then create and submit your general application, that is the way to put you in line for scholarship consideration.

Oh yes, I did it. However, I had a Bachelor's degree in Saigon, Vietnam. I don't know if this is gonna disqualify my scholarship ability. Do you have any contact of scholarship admission at TWU?

Hmm I have no idea if they will look at your degree in Vietnam. You can contact [email protected] or 940.898.3064 to ask, but I recommend you to call them if you don't wanna wait forever LOL
